Iceland 2023/24 - student fees and grants | In Iceland all students pay fees, in every study cycle. The standard charge is a registration fee of ISK 75,000 (about EUR 503 a year in 2023/24), and this is what most students pay. There are exceptions. In the subsidised clinical psychology programme the fee could reach ISK 1,188,000 for home students (about EUR 8,382) and ISK 2,248,000 for international students. A few programmes that are not state-subsidised charge much more – the most expensive, the MBA at Reykjavík University, cost up to ISK 12,500,000. International students also pay an extra application fee of around ISK 8,000. Students with disabilities get a fee reduction, and other waivers or reductions depend on students' socio-economic situation. |
