From the beginning of the academic year until the end of the week before the Christmas holidays.

Academic year 2016/17:
until Saturday 24 December 2016

Two weeks around Christmas and New Year.
 
Academic year 2016/17:  
from Monday 26 December 2016 until
Sunday 10 January 2017

(2^ndsemester)

From the beginning of February until the end of the
3rd or 4th week of May.
 
Academic year 2016/17: 
from Monday 13 February 2017 until 
Saturday 27 May 2017.

There is an Easter holiday break of two weeks.
Academic year 2016/17: 
from Monday 3 April 2017 until 
Monday 17 April (Easter Monday)

Belgium - French Community

The first term starts on 14 September 2016; the second on 1 February 2017; the third on 1 July 2017.
The two first terms include at least 12 weeks of teaching activity.
Teaching activity starts on the first Monday of the term.
For purposes of curricular organisation, each of the three four-month terms includes assessment and holiday periods.
