1. Those universities starting no later than 13 September finish their teaching activity just before the Christmas holidays.
2. Those starting later than 13 September finish their teaching activity no later than 19 January.

Particular feature:
University of Salamanca: It divides the academic year in 2 equivalent intervals of 18 weeks, from 1 or 18 September (1st Bachelor year starts afterwards) to 2 February.

Christmas Holidays:
16 days between 23 December 2017 and 7 January 2018

Teaching activity:
Between the end of the Christmas holidays (University of Navarra) or the end of the 1st examination period and the start of May/June examinations: The average is mid-May. Particular features: The earliest ending date is 27 April in Navarra and the latest is mid-June in Salamanca.
