Student grants
Poland has need-based and merit-based grants, open to both home and international students, whether they study full-time or part-time. There is no age limit for getting a grant, and grants can be combined with a student loan. So if you come to Poland from abroad, you can apply for these grants too, not only Polish students. Eurydice has no data on grant amounts or on the share of students who receive them for 2023/24.Loans
Publicly subsidised student loans are available to home full-time and part-time students under the age of 30, and you can apply at any time during the year. Some international students can also get one, for example holders of a permanent residence permit, long-term EU residents, refugees and holders of the Karta Polaka (Pole's Card). Eurydice gives no loan amounts for 2023/24.
