education fix the periods of examinations
autonomously. Usually they take place within
1 to 3 weeks before the end of a semester.
At the universities of applied sciences, the
examinations usually take place at the end of
the teaching period. For that reason, their
teaching activity period usually lasts about
two weeks longer than indicated above.
