Student grants

Home students can get a universal study grant. In 2023/24 it was EUR 279.38 per month, for a total of 55 months. You decide how many grant months to take each academic year: one month gives EUR 279.38, the usual nine months EUR 2,514.42 and the maximum of 12 months EUR 3,352.56. You must be at least 17, and your own income must stay below the annual income limit.

On top of the grant, students can receive the general housing allowance, and there are extra subsidies for meals and student loan compensation.
