National student fee

Home full-time students in first- and second-cycle programmes at public higher education institutions in Slovenia pay tuition if they already have a qualification at least at the level of the programme they are enrolled in. The same applies to students who don't yet have that level but whose student status in an earlier programme has ended under the law. Fees vary by field of study, and there are no waivers or reductions. Part-time programmes are not offered.

In 2023/24 the most common fee in the first cycle was EUR 31 a year. The page gives no details on fees for international students or for students who exceed the normal length of study.
