National student fee

In Norway home students pay only administrative fees, while other categories of students also pay tuition fees. For home students the cost is low: according to Eurydice data for 2023/24, these fees were about EUR 45 to EUR 78 a year, in both Bachelor's and Master's programmes.

Fees differ by field of study. International students pay higher fees, but Eurydice has no data on how much, and they may not be admitted to part-time programmes. There are no fee waivers or reductions.

Norway has no short-cycle higher education: short programmes belong to vocational education and training (ISCED level 5).

The United Kingdom no longer takes part in Eurydice, so its entries end in 2016/17.
